Available to mentor a student for one-on-one advice?
As long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to fly. And after nearly 20 years of doing just that, I can say that there’s nothing else I’d rather do. After earning a degree in aviation, I began my journey up the aviation ladder, starting with work as a line service technician. I was also lucky to begin instructing at this time on a part time basis, which then led to full time instructing as well as flying for a Part 135 charter operator. This experience, including an upgrade to 135 Captain allowed me to gain invaluable experience as I progressed towards an airline career. During my tenure at the airlines, I flew Canadair Regional Jets and Embraer Regional Jets throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Throughout my career progression, the one thing I continued to enjoy was sharing my passion for flying with others through flight instructing. For me, the pinnacle of being a flight instructor was reached when I was appointed to be a Designated Pilot Examiner. Additionally, I’m a Lead Representative for the FAA Safety Team, and have been lucky to be the recipient of multiple awards for my work in instructing and safety. I hold an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with type ratings on the EMB-145 (Embraer Regional Jets), HS-125 (Hawker Business Jets) and LR 60 (Lear Jet 60), and am a Gold Seal Flight Instructor with Single Engine, Multi-Engine, and Instrument Airplane privileges. I currently fly Lear 60 aircraft out of Philadelphia International Airport.
